{"id":1969,"date":"2020-06-25T15:24:33","date_gmt":"2020-06-25T15:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nancyannroth.com\/?p=1969"},"modified":"2020-07-21T07:05:04","modified_gmt":"2020-07-21T07:05:04","slug":"writing-and-roaming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nancyannroth.com\/?p=1969","title":{"rendered":"Writing and Roaming"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Roaming is a small community interest group I work with, based in Penzance, near the western tip of this island.\u00a0 \u00a0The group &#8212; usually around 6 or 7, but it varies &#8212; has established a pattern of meeting weekly to talk, draw, paint, dream &#8212; share food and news and an assurance that any and all of us can make new things.\u00a0 Under the UK social distancing restrictions currently in effect, we haven\u2019t been able to meet for several months now. Most of us don\u2019t have internet access &#8212; some don\u2019t have permanent homes, either. But the postal service seems to be working better than ever. \u00a0And we worked out a way of \u00a0sending each other post cards!\u00a0 It surprised me a little how some who had been closely focussed on drawing or painting or making music suddenly started\u00a0<em>writing<\/em>!
